Local Development Setup

Mandatory Release Gates

Before submitting a pull request, run the authoritative verification script:

./scripts/release-check.sh

This enforces clean source git trees, formatting (cargo fmt --check), clippy lints with zero warnings (cargo clippy -- -D warnings), mutual exclusion between production and development features, and the full test suite.

Pull Request Workflow

Review CONTRIBUTING.md and AGENTS.md for architectural rules. Commit messages should follow Conventional Commits.
